Preparing For Your Appointment

To reduce and minimize bruising and swelling before your cosmetic procedure there’s a lot you can do to prepare for your appointment.

1 week before your appointment please minimize blood thinning medications, foods and supplements.

Avoid:
Fish Oil, Garlic, NSAIDS (Aspirin, Motrin, Aleve), Nuts & Fish,
Alcohol & smoking.

If you are on blood thinning medications, speak to your prescribing physician and see if it’s safe to stop those medications a few days before your appointment.

What to add 1 week before your appointment
to minimize bruising and swelling:

ARNICA: 30c supplements
BROMELAIN: Eating pineapple or taking supplements such as Vitamedica.

PREVENTION OF COLD SORES
If you are going to be receiving lip fillers or lip blush and have a history
of cold sores, let your provider know so a prescription for Valtrex can be
sent for you to start prior to your appointment.

DAY OF INJECTION/PROCEDURE

To avoid feeling dizzy and possibly fainting, please come to your appointment hydrated and well nourished so your blood sugar is balanced.

Come to your appointment with no makeup and be ready for photos.
